To celebrate National Writing Day 2019, the Poetry School are offering two free Ginkgo Prize Ecopoetry Workshops on 26 June.
The writer and artist Daisy Lafarge will lead Meeting with Microbes, a workshop in Edinburgh on the “ecopoetics of entanglement with bacterial and microbial worlds”.
Meanwhile, in London, musician and poet Jade Cuttle will teach Plant Whispering, a workshop investigating the fruitful crossover between poetry and plants.
National Writing Day is an annual celebration of writing designed to inspire people across the UK to get writing. Their message is simple: everyone has a story to tell and sharing it can be a source of pleasure and power. The Ginkgo Prize is thrilled to be supporting National Writing Day 2019.
Workshop places are free, but very limited, so booking is essential. Visit our Workshops page to find out more about our programme of free Ginkgo Prize Ecopoetry Workshops.
